Gooch Island Passport is CryptoDickbutts Season 4 (“It’s all over forever it’s a new dawn. Keep away from children.”). The collection and lore are theirs. I wrote all of the Solidity, including art that decays over time.

The contract draws each passport on-chain from INFLATE-compressed traits in SSTORE2, with no server and no IPFS. It compares block.timestamp with the decay start time. As time passes, the image decays more.

The strip above shows passport #1 at seven stages, from new (left) to gone (right). I made it on a mainnet fork: I reset the decay clock and moved time forward. Each frame is a real render from the contract.

The decay is deterministic. Two people who read the same token at the same time see the same image, and anyone can calculate an earlier stage.
