CrypToadzChained renders all 6,969 CrypToadz fully on-chain, including the 1/1 custom images and animations.
The contract stores the features of each toad as INFLATE-compressed draw instructions in SSTORE2. A Solidity pixel renderer, based on the ChainToadz GIFEncoder, draws them on request. The build read the four toadz above from mainnet.
It is not an ERC-721. It is only a tokenURI renderer, which an existing
token contract can use. Kohi needs the mochi node, but a toad renders in the
standard gas limit. Thus a normal eth_call returns the image.

The renderer deploys to mainnet.

The original CrypToadz contract still reads its metadata from off-chain
storage. It does not point to this renderer.
ERC-4804 (web3://) can connect
them: a URL that is an EVM call.
But marketplaces do not read web3:// URLs yet. If the collection changes now,
it will look broken on those marketplaces. The change must wait for marketplace
support.
